Thank you for supporting my independent ceramics business with your purchase. Please read these terms carefully before you place your order.

Everything is made by me at my studio. This means each piece is unique, and although some items are similar, small variations in shape and glaze are perfectly normal. All sizes, weights, capacities, dimensions and measurements indicated on this website have a tolerance.

Items may vary slightly from their pictures. The images of my ceramics are for illustrative purposes. Although every effort is made to display the colours accurately, I cannot guarantee that a device’s display of the colours reflects the identical colour of the ceramics. Your item may vary slightly from those images.


All my ceramics are hand made, by me at my studio in Dorset. Providing the ceramics you’d like are in stock, I aim to dispatch your order to you within 5 working days.

If items are out of stock, I will contact you to update expected delivery times. It usually takes around 4 weeks from start to finish to produce new stock.

Confirmation of your order will take place when you pay for the items at the checkout. You’ll receive an email receipt, at which point a contract will come into existence between us.

Sale items: No returns on sale or discounted items as these are one off pieces or seconds, hence the purpose of the sale.  

Voucher codes: only one code can be used by the same customer for one order.

I reserve the right to update, amend or remove products from my website at any time.


If you would like to pick up your order in person, please get in touch to arrange. I am not at the studio everyday and wouldn’t want you to have a wasted journey!

Delivery available throughout the UK, for overseas postage please contact me first. Standard Delivery is usually around 3-5 days for items in stock.

Delivery charge includes Postage and Packaging. Royal Mail signed for used for deliveries, larger orders may be sent by courier. The cost is £6.50 for orders up to 1kg – £8.50 for orders up to 2kg – £12.50 for orders up to 3kg – £26.50 for orders over 5kg.


Please ensure you’re happy with your order before placing it, and if you require additional information about an item, I’ll be happy to answer – just email hello@imogencharleston.co.uk

I hope you’ll be utterly delighted with your unique handmade ceramics. If for some reason there is a problem, please get in touch and I’ll do my best to resolve. Let me know within 7 days of receipt if this is the case.

Please note that returns and refunds on items is not offered.

Items can be returned if they are damaged or incorrect. Unfortunately, I cannot cover the cost of returning unwanted ceramics, nor refund the initial delivery cost.

If you need to return an item, do get proof of posting for your records in case of parcels lost in transit. Note that insurance for damage of ceramics during transit is not offered. Therefore, please make sure that items you are returning are packed adequately as I cannot accept liability for returned goods being lost or damaged in transit.


Your email will be added to the mailing list, for occasional information about sales & events. You are welcome to unsubscribe at any time via the link in the email. Please note if you opt out of the mailing list, this will not remove personal data provided during your order.

Your details will not be passed on to third parties. In line with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), any personal data collected from you, or that you share, will be processed and stored securely online, You have the right to request any personal information held about you. By law this information about customers (including Contact, Identity, Financial and Transaction Data) must be held for six years after they cease being customers for tax purposes. After this time, it will be securely deleted.
